Is Bitcoin going up?

According the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the purchasing power of >the dollar has declined more than 20% since 2020. This isn't a surprise.

It's no secret that most governments operate with large deficits. Politicians don't like to say "No, you can't have that" nor are they willing to say "We're going to tax you more to pay for it." And so national debts keep increasing. Deficit-spending is money-printing.

More dollars don't magically create more goods and services. All those new dollars are chasing the same number of things that people want and the result is that prices go up.

There will never be more than 21 million Bitcoin.

Bitcoin's fixed supply is enforced by 5 lines of computer code in the Bitcoin software. If someone tries to send you Bitcoin that doesn't follow this rule, it isn't Bitcoin -- and it is trivial for any computer to prove it.

When someone sends you Bitcoin, not only can they do it from anywhere in the world, across any border, day or night, holidays and weekends included, but you can run an app on your phone to verify that it hasn't increased the fixed supply.

That's why Bitcoin is going up.
